CNBC Program on Remington Model 700 Trigger Defect Stirs Gun Control Debate

by hightangle on October 26, 2010

With allegations of a product defect in Remington’s bolt action rifle receiving attention in the media, some of you may wonder what position Hightower Angelley takes regarding gun control.  Hightower Angelley does not, and has not ever, advocated for gun control.  We do, however, strongly believe that firearms should work properly.  When they don’t, the manufacturer has a duty to tell folks what they know.  We are not anti-gun.  Far from it as both Mr. Hightower and Mr. Angelley both own gun collections.  We just think they should work right.  In conjunction with safe gun handling, the manufacture must not make a firearm any more dangerous than it has to be.
